All of us guys doing laundry.

Go figure.

Glenwood Canyon Resort

Not to fear. I'll complete Part 2 of the Emerald Lake hike a bit later. Trying to get caught up with real time.

Arrived at Glenwood Canyon Resort yesterday evening. Kids pumped about whitewater rafting, zipling, and rock wall climbing.

All 3 RV's...

Emerald Lake, Part 1

One more of Logan with Longs Peak in the background.  We woke up to sunshine on Day 2 and things were much more photo-friendly.

Nick and Bryce -- the out-numbered boys of this trip.  They are out to hunt-fish-stab-shoot-club-kill-whittle-or-stab anything they can find.  And Aaron think they are the coolest thing ever.

Longs Peak.  Can't shoot it enough.

Getting ready for the shuttle to the Emerald Lake hike.

And off we go.  The Emerald Lake hike goes past 3 lakes.  3.6 miles roundtrip with a 600 foot climb in elevation.  Doesn't seem so bad until you realize that the base elevation of the hike is 9,500 feet.  Feels like a 36 mile hike!

Nymph Lake.  My favorite to photograph of the 3 lake.

That's Karen in the pink shirt.  Can you spot her?

Mitchell getting the perfect shot.

Moraine Park

Slow on the blog posts due to lack of internet or reliable cell phone coverage.  But hey, when you're communing with nature, do you really need technology??  Well, yeah, I think I do.

This is our first overnight stop in the RV.  Moraine Park within Rocky Mountain National Park.  BEAUTIFUL!

It's dry camping -- for you non-RVers, that means no hookups.  No water, no electric, no sewer.  Don't be too impressed with us -- these motorhomes have all the bells and whistles -- it's hardly tent camping.

Aaron is a tree climber.  The pine you see him in is where he spent most of his time.

Logan is loving it, and couldn't be happier since Megan and Sam are along on the trip.

That's Longs Peak in the background of these shots.  14,259 feet.  Quite a sight.
